Specialist contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) SCM Pharma has appointed Paul Thomas as a new director to bolster its senior team’s expertise and support its ongoing expansion.
Paul joins the UK-based company as a non-executive director and brings a wealth of sterile manufacturing, technical and commercial experience gained over 25 years in the sector working for the likes of Warner Lambert, Penn Pharma and Nycomed Amersham (now GE). A trained chemist and Qualified Person (QP), Paul has worked across many aspects of drug development and manufacturing during his career, including analytical, production, quality and senior commercial roles across the world.
On his new appointment, Paul said: “I am delighted to be working with the directors and the wider team at SCM Pharma at such an exciting period in the company’s continued growth into new markets.
